Vintage camera stuff...
It started with a free ad in a local newspaper. I wanted to see if anyone had some old cameras at home ... laying in some box somewhere... - not beeing used for anything. I was hoping for some fast primes, or some vintage classics like the Olympus OM1 ... but what I got was ... well... REALLY out of the ordinary! A few persons called, and I got some cameras for free..., most crap..., but then a guy called me and said he had an old Zeiss ...and I could get it for free! He had been the only owner and bought it himself...; a Zeiss Nettar 515/2 with a Ikon Vario Novar-Anastigmat 105mm f6.3 lens.
Then I got a call from another guy that had some "russian" stuff; A Zenit with some lenses - one really big one as well. It really got my hopes up, and when I met him, I really liked what I saw... A barely used Zenit 12XPS with a 58mm f2..., and a 300mm f4.5 TAIR-3S with an original UV-filter. ... and best of all; it also comes with the "FOTOSNAIPER 12" - som sort of a rifle-grip for the 300mm package. That's something you don't see everyday. ..., and with original box and manual. That was a sweet package! So when I got home, I had to take some fantastic pictures for my blog...
That was a sweeet result!
