My old 300mm...
Now I've had some time to test my "new" 300mm f4.5. I'm supprised by
the sharpness of this lens, and I'm going to show you why.
I took a few pictures of a
house approx. 260meters from where I stood... and this picture filled
the whole frame;
... so here's a part of the picture... 100% crop. Aperature at f/4.5. The one on the right have gotten touch of USM before posting.
I think that's a great result! For an old lens from the Sovjet Union..., Its very sharp when it's vide open!
The next two pictures are taken with an aperature of f/5.6. As with the previous; the one on the right have gotten a small USM fliter applied.
To conclude; I'm very happy!
.... And here's the moon! I'm looking forward to finding my teleconverter again. :)
