Carl Zeiss Sonnar 85/2.8A few weeks ago, I came across a Zeiss Sonnar 85mm f/2.8, which I thought could be a great addition to my collection of old legacy lenses. This particular Carl Zeiss construction is also known to be very sharp and well built, so I was hoping it had the Contax/Yashica mount which would make me able to use it on my E-3..., but sadly it was the Rollei mount, which I cannot use.., unless I buy a new mFT camera (or any "tiny" mirrorless construction). However, that's not in my plans yet, so I ordered a Rollei to mFT adapter in order to make it available for potentional buyers. I'll borrow a mFT camera tomorrow and take a few pictures with the Zeiss, and of the Zeiss mounted..., and then I'll sell it. The lens is very tiny, and would make a nice and sharp 170mm EFL f/2.8 onto the fourthirds sensor. This lens was originally designed for the Rollei 35 system; the Rolleiflex SL-350 from 1974-. ..., but still - beeing so old; there are no dust or "impurities" in the optical system. The barrel got a few minor signs of usage, but it's in great shape!
