Vasarelys inspiration?
Yesterday, I took some pictures of my girlfriend. She's now ... err... many months pregnant, and if everything happens according to "plan", we're going to be parents to a cute little girl in just 6 weeks! We are really looking forward to it. We had to take some pictures now when she's pregnant, and we will probably take many more.., and I'll post more of them later, when I get the chance to look through them and find the best ones. However; one picture got my imediate attention, and got me thinking about the Op-art of Victor Vasarely. Here are some examples of his work;
... and when you see this next picture, You'll understand why I thought of Vasarelys work. The picture is taken by me and my E-3 with my excellent 7-14mm f/4 lens at 7mm and f/10. ISO-160 and 1/160sek. Two studio flashes with softboxes very close at my left and right. Some preprocessing to make it look even more like a Vasarely.., but keep in mind; this is just the pregnant belly of my girlfriend.
